Sky Mountain Wedding – Destination Asheville, NC Wedding

Haley and Chris chose their favorite getaway destination, Asheville, as the location for their intimate mountain wedding.  They wanted to have a small gathering of friends and family for their celebration, so they opted for a small, mid-day ceremony and then headed to a brewery together.  It is our honor to get to share some of the engagement and wedding day photos from a perfect mountaintop ceremony and a few New Belgium brewery photos before they headed in for their wedding-day tour.

I always adore when we are able do an engagement photo session with my couples so they get to experience being photographed together and gives me a chance to get to know them a bit more before the wedding.  Thrilled that this adorable pair opted to go play as their engagement session on a rainy day in the River Arts District.  After that session, I knew this couple’s Sky Mountain wedding would be a blast and it did not disappoint!

Their day could not have been more spectacular.  Sky Mountain has one of the most beautiful views of the downtown Asheville area.  This private residence hosts small gatherings – and the owners are the nicest people, having worked hard to create this picturesque event space.  It is always magical up there – and everyone feels lucky to get to visit.

There was so much love on that mountaintop that day!  After a casual lunch with the most spectacular view, we captured a few portraits then headed to New Belgium for a few more photos before we parted.  It is so wonderful to see a bride and groom embrace how they want to enjoy the day and it was my pleasure to get to help make their vision happen.

Wishing the best for this wonderful couple!
